Acts of Himalaya (AoH) is a non-profit mission organization based in Lynchburg, VA. The driving passion of AoH is bringing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unreached people groups in one of the most difficult regions in the world. Their ultimate vision is the multiplication of churches until there is a church within walking distance of every person in Himalaya. The strategy to achieve this goal is to train and equip indigenous leaders to make disciples and plant multiplying churches.

The strength of the Acts program is the sustainability and replicability of the training centers, which are often located within a local church. Additionally, the unique Acts curriculum is similar to that of a pastoral degree program, but with textbooks that are written at a level the undereducated can understand, helping them to grow in their skills and in their relationship with Jesus. This empowers local leaders in remote areas to be equipped to plant and lead churches.

Student candidates are selected for their potential and their vision, then receive full scholarships. Blue Ridge Community Church and AoH have a shared vision to reach the people of Asia, specifically unreached people groups in the Himalayan region. Blue Ridge teams have traveled to Nepal for many years, and in the process, have developed many partnerships that have advanced the Kingdom of God.

This is an exciting partnership that will continue and expand AoH’s work in this region, building relationships with the leaders and church planters who are bringing the light of Jesus to Himalaya, one village after another.
