In 2013, Tabitha North began collecting items for the needy inside her own basement. She then joined forces with Warm Streets Ministry, a nonprofit that provides furniture to families who have escaped abuse, to donate the items.

Recently, North was named executive director of the Agape Lynchburg Center, a nonprofit that provides food, clothing, furniture, and household items to those in need which include families in Central and Southwest Virginia.

Now, the Agape Lynchburg team partners with churches and volunteers in the local area to provide items for those in need. Donated items are facilitated in their new building at 3026 Carroll Avenue, Lynchburg, Virginia.
