Shanyrak Church

Kazakhstan is ethnically a diverse population of Turkish and Mongol tribal groups and Russian settlers. Shanyrak Church is located in Astana, Kazakhstan. The country gained independence in 1991. Religious belief in the country is pretty evenly split between Islam and Russian Orthodoxy. Protestants are at about 2% of the population.

We are happy to support the church through People International, and through Masha – a native missionary.
