With each sale, dollars are donated not only to global endeavors, but to outreach ministries right here in our own community.
The Bookstore features a warm and knowledgeable staff who strive to help meet your resource needs every Sunday. Facing a difficult challenge? Let them help you find a Christ-centered perspective on that issue from the diverse inventory in the store. From devotionals to Bibles, impactful new releases to fun t-shirts, you’ll find it all available at the store.
The Café offers tasty snacks and treats that are served up with a smile by our dynamic staff. Talented servers arrive early and work throughout the morning creating enjoyable food items for the entire family. From cinnamon rolls to healthy yogurt parfaits, the Café strives to meet our church family’s needs and provide a convenient environment for people to enjoy fellowship and community.
In addition to these treats and resources, our Bookstore and Café also serve another important function: 100% of all proceeds from both of these areas go to support missions. Quite simply, that means ANY profits from the operations are given to missions. And our all-volunteer staff and your consistent patronage help to make that a reality.
In fact, in the last two years, more than $20,000 was donated to missions. The following ministries have benefited in that time:
Warm Streets A local community outreach to the homeless that provides for basic needs such as toiletries, meals, blankets and coats. Bibles are given and the gospel is shared. The spiritual needs of the homeless right in our own backyard are met as relationships are formed and the love and grace of God is shared.
Wycliffe Bible Translators Supported by Blue Ridge for many years, the translators (led by Dave and Naomi Coward) are actively working to translate God’s inspired Word into languages for which it has never been written. They are reaching those in remote areas and tribes with the Bible in their own native tongue.
People International—Persecution Relief People International has missionaries in parts of the world in which sharing the “Good News” is not only illegal, it threatens their very lives and the lives of their families. Persecution Relief aids in protecting these native missionaries as they go about sharing God’s salvation in some of the most dangerous parts of the world.
Campus Crusade For Christ International Campus Crusade seeks to spread the truth of God’s Word on secular campuses across the country.
Grace City Church Blue Ridge supports this church plant in Las Vegas, which serves the infamous “Vegas Strip” and offers a beacon of hope and light to the lost and dying in Sin City.
